USEF: Beezie Madden and Conquest II Win $35,000 Farr XTN Grand Prix of Palm Beach
A crowd of 8,095 enthusiastic fans were on hand to see 2004 Athens Olympic Silver Medalist Beezie Madden and Conquest II edge Casadora, ridden by 2000 Olympian Lauren Hough, by fractions of a second for the win in the $35,000 Farr XTN Grand Prix of Palm Beach.

KWPN: Lingh Inscribed in KWPN Studbook after 5 Days
March 25, 2005 - The KWPN stallion keuring commission has today registered the international dressage horse Lingh as a breeding stallion. Lingh spent 5 days at the KNHS center at Ermelo. In light of his performances record, a short examination of his stable behavior was sufficient. The stallion, owned by Van Sadelhoff, was returned to rider Edward Gal this afternoon.

North American-bred Stallion Accepted for the KWPN Stallion Test in Holland
Dutch Warmblood stallion Vitamorkus (Contango x Rita Morka, sired by Jazz) was accepted for the stallion test in Holland, becoming the first North American-bred stallion accepted for the stallion test. Vitamorkus was bred by Loucky Hagens-Groosman of Purcelville, VA, and is owned by Hagens-Groosman and MJT & KAE Brinkman from Twello, Holland.

Eurodressage: Olympic Ferro Dies Unexpectedly
The KWPN keur and preferent stallion Ferro suffered from a severe colic attack and could not be saved. Coby van Balen and Ferro won team silver at the 1998 World Equestrian Games, 1999 European Championships and 2000 Olympic Games. Their career highlight was in 2000 when they placed second in the World Cup Finals in 's Hertogenbosch. Hilltop Farm: Rousseau Moves to Germany
Early this winter, the Hilltop Rousseau Partnership determined to move Rousseau from the Netherlands to Germany for the 2005 breeding season. Hengststation Pape in Hemmoor, Germany will be Rousseau’s new home base.

At the indoor dressage show in Verden, Germany, the 4-year old chestnut stallion Royal Blend has been proclaimed Best Hanoverian Stallion Born in 2001.
